Verified First’s investment as a Bronze Industry Investor will support tech companies in Idaho

Meridian, ID — Verified First, a leading background and drug screening company, announced  joining the Idaho Technology Council (ITC) as a Bronze Industry Investor. This investment will support the growth of Idaho technology companies and position its members for success.

As an Idaho-grown company that created its own technology platform, Verified First naturally aligns with ITC’s mission to connect and promote technology companies in Idaho. Verified First uses proprietary technology to make pre-employment screenings faster, more intuitive, and compliant with federal and state regulations. Because of its platform’s features and ease of use, Verified First won the Gold Stevie Award for Talent Acquisition and Retention Solution Provider of the Year in 2016 and 2017. Verified First also was named the winner of the 2018 iTalent Competition hosted by HRO Today, which spotlights innovative HR technology in the industry.

These solutions have supported Verified First’s incredible growth. Last year, Verified First was ranked as the 198th fastest-growing company on the Inc. 5000 list, making it the fastest-growing Idaho company in 2017. This growth has been supported by the ITC’s advocacy of technology companies.

Through the support of industry groups like the ITC, Idaho’s tech sector has flourished. Two years ago, industry group CompTia ranked Idaho as the second fastest-growing tech sector in the nation. Because Idaho was also ranked as the fastest-growing state by the U.S. Census Bureau this year, Verified First was quick to see business development opportunities.

Devon Dickinson, CEO of Verified First, said, “Idaho’s incredible growth highlights the need to invest in our community. We are bullish on Idaho — and we want to support our state’s progress through our investment in the Idaho Technology Council.”

The Idaho Technology Council is also excited about Verified First’s support and involvement.

“Verified First is a prime example of Idaho innovation,” said Jay Larsen, President and Founder of the ITC. “Their success shows how Idaho companies can use technology to compete on a national level. We look forward to working together to create a stronger foundation for growth.”
